I know, I know, it's been awhile....
Recent adventures:
-Viewing Nagoya's new Centrair Airport up close and personal for 23 hours
-Surprising my mother (to the point of tears)
-Touring California in a Ford Focus (a short boycott on Japanese cars)
-Braving flooded Reno in search of party hats, confetti and a balloon drop. No water is going to spoil my New Year's Eve
-Braving San Francisco to get back on my plane
-Braving an evil child in the seat in front of me for 12 hours. I have worked with children for awhile but I have never seen a child able to jump on a chair continuosly (while screaming at the top of his lungs) for quite so long.
-Snow, Snow and More Snow in Japan. Wow do I love snow. I love snow so much that...
Upcoming adventures
-I am addicted to CSI. I can't stop watching. This weekend I predict record breaking marathons.
-I am going to brave more snow (and probably harsher temperatures) to attend the Hokkaido Snow Festival (Yuki Matsuri) in a few weeks. See details here:
-Snow, Snow and More Snow. Walking to work sometimes counts as an adventure. My bike is hibernating until warmer weather comes.
-Possible trip to Okinawa in the spring (anything to escape the snow?)
